Quantcast CMP for CCPA & GDPR

Sortable has partnered with Quantcast to provide our publishers with a hosted CMP solution that includes a “Do Not Sell My Information” link for CCPA, along with a module covering GDPR.

The California Attorney General’s enforcement of the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) is scheduled to begin July 1, 2020. The digital advertising industry is also working to adopt the IAB’s updated Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF 2.0) for GDPR, with the current version (1.1) to be deprecated by June 30, 2020.

For more details on the migration to our hosted Quantcast CMP, and steps you may need to take, see this article.

If you are not already protecting your site(s) and business with Sortable’s hosted CMP solution, and would like to learn more, contact success@sortable.com.

Sponsored video ad format (beta)

Sortable has been working to expand our ad formats portfolio. The sponsored video ad format serves an impression that includes a pre-roll video ad followed by video content, curated to match your site’s content. Video ads generally command higher CPMs than traditional display ads and increase the time spent on page from engaged users. We are currently in a closed beta phase and are optimizing to ensure performance. All enabled formats (including display) compete against each other, providing CPM and revenue lift with very little additional work from you. We are estimating release for the end of Q2, and at that time we will communicate how to enable this on your site.

Additional measures to protect our publishers

In light of the current climate, Sortable has implemented more stringent measures to protect you, our publishers. As a result, we will be pausing traffic to Sortable's EMX Digital seat. This update only impacts publishers running on Sortable's EMX Digital account.
